Statement of Purpose
careforward fostering service
It is the aim of Careforward Independent Fostering Agency to provide quality Foster placements with caring, committed families. All of our carers are selected for their standards of care and abilities to work with children and young people.
Careforward is committed to improving the quality of service provided, by continually reviewing its practices and seeking feedback from the users of its service. Everyone who works at Careforward appreciates the demands that young people in the care system can make and our aim is to fully support and train foster carers to meet those demands and help the children in their care move on and develop positively.
We aim to provide secure stable foster placements, with social work, counselling and educational support. We aim to maintain the National Minimum Standards in foster care and promote best possible practice. We value individuals, training and development, support and teamwork. The agency also promotes the educational needs of children and liaison with education departments.
Careforward recognise that it may be necessary for individuals to make a complaint about the practice of employees or carers. We believe that open communication between individuals and agencies is helpful to ensure that any problems or complaints are dealt with quickly and resolved to the satisfaction of all concerned.
